The Intent Outreach System That Booked 5 Meetings in 3 Weeks

Ask yourself: who really needs your service?

Time to be more intent in age of AI….

Back in 2023, I thought I was being smart.

I'd spend hours crafting the "perfect" LinkedIn outreach message.

I'd research companies.

Write personalized intros.

Hit send on 50-100 messages per week.

And wait.

The replies? Brutal.

"Not interested."

"We're all set."

Or worse - complete silence.

I remember one week in early 2024 where I sent 87 connection requests.

Got 23 accepts. And exactly 2 replies.

Both said no.

I kept thinking:

  • "I just need to get better at writing copy."

  • "I need to be more persuasive."

  • "Maybe I should send more messages."

But here's what I didn't realize…

The problem wasn't my message.

It was the people I was messaging.

I was reaching out to random people thinking I was smart enough to sell them something.

But in reality?

They didn't need my service.

They weren't even thinking about the problem I solved.

I was interrupting strangers who had zero intent.

How do I change this approach?

I started with a simple question: “Who really needs my service?

Fast forward to a campaign I ran 3 weeks ago:

57 connection requests sent.
46 accepted.
22 replied.
5 meetings booked.
1 deal closed.

And I didn't spam a single person.

The reality is that….

I stopped chasing random people on LinkedIn.

I started finding leads who already care about what I solve.

The difference?

INTENT!!!

When you approach people based on intent, you're not reaching out blindly.

You're connecting with people who are either:

  • Problem-aware (they know they have an issue)

  • Solution-aware (they're actively looking for ways to fix it)

That's a massive difference from cold outreach.

Let me show you exactly how this works in practice:

Real Example:

Let's say you run cohorts teaching founders how to scale their business using AI and n8n automation to save 10+ hours weekly and increase revenue.

Instead of DMing 500 random "CEOs," you'd:

  1. Find people commenting on posts about AI automation bottlenecks

  2. Look for founders in LinkedIn groups discussing workflow inefficiencies

  3. Search for attendees of recent AI/automation webinars

  4. Check competitor cohort participants who completed similar programs

  5. Track engagement on posts about scaling challenges

Now you have 50-100 people who've already raised their hand about this exact problem.

These aren't cold leads.

They're warm, qualified, and ready to listen.

Here's My 5-Step Intent Outreach System:

Step 1: Find Your Intent Signals

→ 3 of your old posts with real discussions (not just likes)
→ Competitor posts with engaged audiences
→ Live events related to your solution
→ Cohorts or bootcamps in your space
→ LinkedIn groups discussing your topic

Step 2: Extract the Engaged People

I push all these leads through n8n for automatic qualification.

Then I filter by:

  • Location

  • Company size

  • Industry fit

  • Engagement level

Step 3: Build Your Warm List

Now I have 50-100 people who've already shown interest.

Not random prospects.

Problem-aware or solution-aware leads.

Step 4: Launch Your Campaign

I move them into Aimfox (you can use HeyReach or similar) and run this sequence:

  1. Send them a free resource related to what they engaged with

  2. Ask for feedback on the resource

  3. Once they respond: "What's stopping you from solving this?"

  4. Share how you solved this for a previous client

  5. Book the call

Step 5: Test & Iterate

Speed beats perfection here.

If one campaign doesn't work?
→ Test another angle
→ Try a different resource
→ Adjust your message

Keep testing until you find what clicks.

My Results From One Campaign:

✅ 57 connection requests sent
✅ 46 accepted (80% acceptance rate)
✅ 22 replied (48% reply rate)
✅ 5 calls booked
✅ 1 deal closed
✅ 4 high-quality leads in pipeline

All in 3 weeks.

Compare that to my 2023 numbers:

❌ 87 connection requests
❌ 23 accepted (26% acceptance rate)
❌ 2 replied (8% reply rate)
❌ 0 calls booked
❌ 0 deals closed

Same effort. (even I do it manually, because back then I was not using outreach tools at all)

Completely different approach.

Why This Works Better Than Cold Outreach:

Think about it like this...

You wouldn't walk into a coffee shop and pitch everyone inside.

You'd find the people reading books about your topic.

You'd sit next to those discussing your industry.

You'd talk to those asking questions you can answer.

That's exactly what intent-based outreach does on LinkedIn.

You're not interrupting strangers.

You're continuing conversations that already started.

The Truth About LinkedIn Outreach:

Finding leads has never been easier.

But most people are still doing it backwards.

They're sending 500 generic messages hoping for 2-3 replies.

When they could be sending 50 targeted messages and getting 20+ replies.

Same effort.

10x better results.

Problem-aware audiences are the best place to start.

Because they're already looking for what you offer.

You just need to show up at the right time with the right message.

I wish someone had told me this in 2023.

Would've saved me months of frustration and wasted outreach.
